Using the template of 14 previous study programs in Israel and Palestine, this program introduces students to the political, religious, social, cultural, and economic parameters of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict through the lenses of direct experience and persons directly involved on both sides of the conflict. Students will meet with Israelis and Palestinians, especially those actively involved in work toward a just peace, and come to understand the complexity of a conflict in which there are at least two narratives that are both true – but don’t meet.
