Program Description

Students explore the birthplace of Quakerism, Northwest England, gathering a sense of the rich heritage through the visiting many of the historic sites; engage in conversation with Friends of Britain Yearly Meeting Friends in the life and witness; understand the context (political, religious, and cultural) of England in the mid 1600s at the birthing of the Religious Society of Friends. Requires: daily reflective journal entries, daily meeting for worship (with local Friends), Fast Track I Colloquium to pull together experiences, reflections, insights, 12-15 page research paper.


Course: 50006 GST 250 001 - 4 credits, Graded.
